Partner data comes from community testing on v0.7.7 (2026-10-20), before Season 2. The game is now on v0.8.25, so some challenges may have changed since, and we re-check them as we play.

How to read the list

  • Passive: the bonus the partner brings to every run, in short. Numbers change often between patches, so we describe what the passive does rather than exact values.
  • How to unlock: the League challenge. Completing it opens an encounter in a later run, and you still have to defeat and catch the Pokémon. See the unlock guide for how encounters work.
  • League members needed: the challenge only counts once your League is this big.

How many Pokémon are in PokeBonk?

There are 79 League partners you can play as: 3 starters, 71 common, uncommon and rare partners, and 5 legendaries (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo and Mew).

What does the League requirement mean?

Some challenges only start counting once your League has enough members. For example Eevee needs 15 partners, and Mew needs 78, so Mew is always the last one you unlock.

Which partners should I unlock first?

Start with the challenges that need no League members and that you complete by playing normally, such as Pidgey (complete 4 runs), Bellsprout (reach level 20) and Weedle (5,000 KOs in total). Each new partner also moves you closer to the League-size gates.
